Burps that dont want to come up.

I am post op day 2. The most uncomfortable problem for me today is that i am experiencing burps that dont come out. I would feel better if i could burp. Anyone having this problem?

Although it feels like it will never come soon enough you will eventually pass through this! I think it lasted almost the whole first week with me (I was banded 6/28/10) I’m six weeks out now and still burp funny! It’s kind of like a hiccup and then burp…I’ve gotten used to it!

I wish you lots of luck!!

It gets alot better the further you get from surgery. I still can't do any gnarly man burps but I'm able to at least let them out now.

I am going thru the same thing. I had my surgery two weeks ago. I feel like I am going to burp, but then somehow my body stops me. Sometimes I do burp. It seems to be getting alittle better with time!
