Small Slipage so dr took out all my fluid

Hey,

I had my lapband in June of 09. Everything was going great and I have lost 80lbs and have reached my goal. I had to go back to the dr last week b/c I started throwing up. He x-rayed me and said there was a very minor slipage. He took all my fluid out (6cc) and told me that the band would slip back into place and I am to come back in 6 weeks and he will start putting fluid back in. He also said that since I am at my goal he probably will not have to put in but half of what he took out. I am TERRIFIED of gaining a lot of weight over the next few weeks. Has this happened to anyone else and how much did you gain when the fluid was taken out?

Sorry to hear you had trouble. Congrats on getting to goal! I would do 2 things. One is beef up your excersise. Also, focus on eating the right things, even if portions are a little bigger than when you have restriction. You can do it! Just remember how hard it was to get those last few pounds off. You don't want to go there again.
