High protein/low carb pre-op diet...need suggestions....

So Im starting my 2 week pre-op diet today and I thought that I was prepared and it wouldnt be too hard to do. But now that its here Im having a hard time coming up with stuff to cook and eat. I know the basics but does anybody have good recipes or websites that they know of for this type of diet?

I believe you can go to dlife.com for carb counts and recipes. I did a lot of chicken, no sugar, no carbs except veggies and very limited fruit...watermelon is wonderful for a low carb!

And there are weight loss surgery cookbooks out there too. I have one and it's great.

I didn't do any of that until after the surgery though- when I got to my mushy stage and I would cook the food and then puree it in the blender or food processor.

Pre-surgery I just did vanilla, chocolate or strawberry Protein shakes mixed with skim milk or Water, chicken broth, and V-8. It suuucked! lol
