can clothes that are too tight around your belly bother your lap band

I have jeans that have the elastic waist and they fit everywhere but are tight on the stomach and it does bother me to have them sit where the port and band are. So another 10 lbs and they will be perfect around the waist but too big in the leg, go figure.

I'm about two and a half years out and yes, tight clothing touching my port site does still cause discomfort for me.

It can bother your port yes..but your lapband is nowhere near your waist. So, port yes, but the band itself? No.
