:confused:I am four months out from being banded. I lost 19lbs before my surgery but I have only lost 7lbs since my surgery four months later.... I have dropped from 18 pants to size 14(I am assuming most of this is from the weightloss presurgery) but the numbers on the scale are not budging now. In the last month I feel like I have leveled off with inches. I feel like I am eating healthy but I am not experiencing very much restriction. I have always been very active and always on the go. I have struggled with actual "exercise". I am scheduled for my 3rd fill next week. My band is currently filled with 7cc, doc has been adding 1cc at each fill. I wonder how much the average band fill is to feel a healthy restriction?

I am loosing an enormous amount of hair, I am amazed I still have hair on my head.... I am also bruising very easily. I am unsure if this is related to the band or not. I am taking B12 injections monthly and eating my flinstone Vitamins. I am scheduled to have routine bloodwork next month.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am very fustrated and loosing motivation....:smile2:

Are you taking your Vitamins and reaching your Protein goals? I hope everything is okay.

As far as the wightloss, I feel your pain. I am 4 weeks out of sugery and had my first fill....3 cc. I don't feel much restriction and am scheduled for my next feel on the 13 of July. Don't worry, from what I'm reading and experiencing it take a while to get to the "sweet spot" and start dropping the weight.

My weightloss was at a standstill until I started seriously limiting my carbs and excersizing. I work out a minimum of 3 times per week for 1 hour and only eat carbs (an english muffin) with my Breakfast. My restriction isn't always there but I limit my portion sizes.

Thank you for replying! I do need to try exercising more. I also enjoy my carbs, but I am not eating as many as I was pre surgery. I definately have increased my protien intake.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
