I love on Long Island (Suffolk County), but I work in NYC. I'm looking for a buddy (or two or three or twelve) for support because I know this is going to be a challenging and life-changing experience.

I live in Staten Island but work in Jersey City. When was your surgery. I was banded on May 13th. feeling good and down 40lbs.

We have the same date! I had my pre-op testing this morning. I'm so excited I almost just went ahead and started my liquid diet early!

How are you doing?

i live in queens NYC and my surgery is sched for july 19

wut kind of pre op diet did u follow?

my surg got changed to the 22nd, my dr put me on 1400 cal. and clear liquids 1 week before surg,so u will get yours before i do mine, what diet did they give you? i live 70 miles south of St. Louis,mo. I'm having surgery at Barnes in St. Louis.

My surgery is scheduled for the 14th of July and I too am looking for cyber buddies. My surgeon does not have me on any crazy diets pre-surgery except for the day before. I was instructed to be on a clear diet 24hrs prior to surgery. I am looking forward to it but a bit nervous at the same time. Would love to meet new people who are experiencing the same feelings!
