I have been looking for a good forum, i think this is it, Lap- band year ago. have had many trials and errors.only lost 46 lbs. im back on track hope to loose more.

Im 68 and I was beggining to worry about my age ! My surg date is 7/22. how long u been banded ?

How are you doing ? my surg. will be 22nd, what diet did u do before surg. got any pointers, iam really anxious to get it over with.

my surg got changed to the 22nd, my dr put me on 1400 cal. and clear liquids 1 week before surg,so u will get yours before i do mine, what diet did they give you? i live 70 miles south of St. Louis,mo. I'm having surgery at Barnes in St. Louis.

Dr. eagon is doing my surgery he is very nice did my sisters gastric and she did great.

Im a little nervous about the pre-op diet, but I know i can do it, I won't know my Surgery Date untill June 15th, I can't wait to get it done, my health is getting me down, Diabetes, high b/p, sleep apnea,etc. Im 68 hope Im not to old. Wish me luck.:thumbup:
