I think the fact that you can eat is great, I would be concerned if you couldn't, we need to eat to live.

I am worried though - what are you hoping for? Are you wanting to get to a stage where you can't eat? If you do you run the risk of death or at the very least being miserable on a liquid diet which will be unsatisfying and probably high calorie and could cause you to gain weight. You may also cause your band to slip or get horrible acid reflux.

The band is designed to restrict the amount of food that you can eat so that you eat smaller portions and are satisfied for longer.It does not work with liquids.

I think you need to make an appointment to see your Dr or nutritionist and discuss how the band works and what kind of diet you are supposed to be eating.I don't know if you were not given proper info prior to the op but you certainly seem to be in need of support and guidance.
