Back to work today after 5 days of post-op

As soon as I walked in people were like, "good to have you back! Were you sick or something? You looked thin!" when I heard that, I knew I was doing something right. Even though the liquid stage is annoying its amazing how people notice the difference when I can't see it at all.

Lol...I got bored at home although at the end of the day I questioned myself as to why I came in to work. But Im glad I did because I walked a lot; going to the cafetaria, the bathroom, conference room, the bathroom, the mailroom, the bathroom...lol..I guess all that walking gave my stomach muscles a workout....but yeah, watch out for the gas...the poor guy in the bathroom stall on my left had the unfortunate experience of being a auditory witness to my *ahem* trumpet solo...

Wow kuddos to you! I dont think i would have been ready 5 days. Im sure I could have done it, but I went back day 7 and man... it was hard! Glad your feeling better.

THAT is precisely why I cannot go back so soon, headed back on Monday...by then I hope to be done with running to the restroom in haste and able to make zero noise....grumblings are pretty loud too

glad you got back, for me, still too soon, 4th day for me, not sure what to say

Nean - Thanks! The doctor assured it will be ok, but we all have different pain thresholds (and I like pain once in a while  - its a tattoo thang), so he told me its up to me if I can handle it. Just dont be on pain meds while driving .

Fluffy- Yeah, flatulence is "evil" but it feels good. I used to get embarrassed but then I realized, wth, im in a bathroom and its my body, its anonymous and I just let it out without remorse...your body will thank you. Good luck!!!
