HEY BANDERS where are you?

I'm wondering how everyone else is doing! The summer is just about here, and I want to hear how excited everyone is to be so much smaller in this season of less clothing. I know this summer is going to be dramatically different for me.

I'm enjoying the warm weather; here in Michigan we have cold for so long when spring gets here it's as if we throw off the shackles.

I'm down 40 pounds and 2 sizes. It's been pretty exciting to haul out all my skinnier summer clothes and have them fit. I am also noticing that I don't get exhausted working in the garden and taking care of my flower beds.

I'm hanging in there. Still losing. Total lost so far is over 70 pounds from highest weight, about 45 pounds from surgery.

I'm into 1XL shirts and my size 18W slacks are really baggy in the butt and hips, but fit fine in the waist.

I had to have gallbladder surgery on May 28, then was admitted to the hospital on June 17 due to pancreatitis which was caused by sludge/stones in my bile duct that escaped prior to my GB surgery and irritated my pancreas.

But now I'm better, exercising again, and am feeling good. I'm trying to decide if I want to go in for a fill or not, but since I'm still losing at my current restriction, I think I may wait a bit until the losses either slow way down or stop all together. I find that as long as I'm exercising 3-4 days a week, I'm losing. If I rely totally on my band to do the work for me, then I don't lose. Which, I guess if I think about it, that's the way it should be, huh?

I am enjoying being able to wear shorts for the first time in about ten years. I have been wearing very long capris almost down to my ankles for years to hide my legs. I can fit into most 16's but there are some 18's that still give me trouble. Why I don't know.

I just hit 199 today and am thrilled but no I am going to have to work harder now to continue to lose. I have to step up my activity level big time.

I just got a fill and hopefully won't have to get one for a while. I am now at 10 cc's in an 11 cc band. Doctor isn't worried about me being so fulll so quickly she says we can always put in more. But I am really feeling restriction now.

I started a blog a few months ago and that keeps me somewhat motivated. I would love any of my December bansters to follow me.

Hanging out in Northwest Ohio, had my surgery on 3/22/10. I'm down 36lbs, I've had one fill. Loving summer and the new me so far.

I'm here.

I had my 6th fill two weeks ago. I have 7.75cc in a 10cc band.

I feel the restriction now. It is not what I expected so I am trying to figure out where to go from here. I see my NUT tomorrow to get more food guidance.

I work out 2x a day 5 days a week---walking right now. I am planning to add some strength training it to it.
