English and banded this week

Hi

I had my band done in Belgium at the AZ Jan Portaels Hospital in Belgium by Christian De Bruyne. I can recommend this trip to anyone, puts the english health service to shame.

I feel really good today (Friday). I had it done on Tuesday. I would love to talk to other people who have been banded.

I am keeping this private from my friends and loved ones which means you feel isolated. Would love to have somebody to compare notes with or diet ideas with.

One question I would like answering is what happens if the food gets stuck. Does in automatically cause you to vomit?

I am hoping I never have to find out what happens when food gets stuck...lol I was banded Monday, June 7 and I am also feeling well. I don't have much to share with you now, as I am on clear liquids until the 16th, I still have weeks before I am back into foods....hope all is well to you and Good Luck:smile2:

Hi danielle

Thank you for replying. It is now day 5 and I feel hungry for the first time. I have just eaten the soups and slimfast shakes today but could do with some real food!!!

I thought this would not require willpower but I can see I am sadly illusional.

Good to hear from you. Keep in touch.
