While I don't live in the UK I'd be glad to help any way possible. I am out 6 years and holding my 250 lb weight loss. I blog my journey with lot's of information at Sandi's Banded Living — My Lapband Weight Loss Success Story

Take a peek and see if you can find some useful information. Or just send me an email or PM with any of your questions.

My only regret about having a lap band is that I didn't do it sooner!

Sussie thanks for the pointer! How are you getting on with your band? 11lbs great going :scared2:

i'm doing great thanks, imy port area is still a little niggly and the muscle under there pulls sometimes but im sure in a week or so when its had proper time to heal all will be better. I,m struggling to get enough water down as i seem to get bloated really easily but not sure if im drinking to much in one go or just drinking to fast. If you dont mind me asking Where are you having your banded fitted and by which surgeon ?
