Starbucks fanatics unite!

Since having the surgery on 4/19, I have going completely cold turkey from my usual daily Starbucks fix. I usually get the skinny vanilla latte or the grande mocha frappuccino if I'm feeling decadent. Do any of you still indulge in these treats? Maybe in a tiny cup? I know we're not supposed to be drinking out calories, but how else can i get my caffeine fix?

Thanks!

Gold card member here to. Does the Protein change the way the drink taste? I really like the idea. Usually have a nonfat toffee nut latte Venti and that is my breakfast. Not the best but if I add protein?

It kind of makes the drink better. I usually get a Chai Tea Latte with Soy Milk and the soy milk at Starbucks uses is vanilla flavored. I only add the vanilla flavored protein to the drink but I guess it would be just the same with the unflavored protein.

I usually do it for breakfast and that does hold me over until lunch.

I've gotten the protein powder added to my skinny vanilla lattes before - usually when I know I'm struggling to get my protein in. It isn't real noticeable, but when I get to the bottom of the cup I run across some that didn't get dissolved. I prefer just my skinny vanilla latte, but find the further out from surgery I get the less I need that boost of protein, even from the milk. My doc is big on no caffeine, so I do the decaf option. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I'm not missing them like I thought I would. However, after a fill when I'm on liquids.... I still enjoy :scared2:

I have a Starbucks Venti sugar free hazelnut latte with 2% milk everyday. I bring along my little baggie of Isopure unflavored protein powder, and add 1 scoop to my latte which is 25 grams of protein. I get my coffee and my protein for breakfast every morning. I can't eat foods until about 1pm, so this gets me going in the morning.

Last week was the first time I had iced coffee from Starbucks. I was drinking iced coffee from McDonald pre-surgery and had stay away from but I was craving it so bad. Well--when I looked at the cal content--I don't feel bad. I usually get a Grande ice coffee with sugar-free hazelnut syrup and a splash of nonfat milk. I will ask for the protein now!!
