Baggy pants but a cool new belt

I was banded on Dec 28th and have steadily been losing weight. For me, what i really have been focusing on is the exercising part(spinning every day in a class at the gym.). I really don't notice a differece like everyone else does. MY husband laughed and told me it was time to buy some new pants as the others are now falling off and I have plumbers butt...So, I went to the store and couldn't find a single pair. I am almost, so close to being able to comfortably fit in a 14, so I thought what the heck. Instead of coming home with new pants, I came home with a new belt to hold up the old pants until i lose about 10 more lbs, then I will go back....He just shakes his head but I thought it was a great idea....I can't see buying a 16 when i am closer to a 14 and almost there.....What do you think?

Do you have Ross or Marshall's by you. I regularly check out their racks and buy stuff that fits if it is on clearance or really cheap. I got a cute new pair of jean capris for only $10. And, it was a brand that I had paid $50 for a pair at Macy's before. So, maybe do a little more bargain shopping to find at least one or two things that fit you now. Even though you will shrink out of them, you will be amazed at how it will make you feel NOW!

I haven't had to buy anything new yet- although I've lost 63.5 pounds. I had smaller clothes in my closet. It was so great to fit into things I haven't fit into in years. When I do need some clothes I think I'm going to rumage through the goodwill store by me. Hopefully I will find a few things to get me through.

I am in the same boat as you. I am just about a 16 and I really need new pants since most of mine are 22's. Mostly elastic waist bands so they fall off. I need new spring clothes but I am waiting till I can only buy 16's. I did find a pair at target that were linen elastic waste. I was able to by XL. NOT XXL or bigger. It is a great accomplishment for me. Just to fit into XL makes me feel great and like I am on my way to just Large. It would be great to buy clothes just Large and fit into all of them.

Do you have a Fashion bug by you? Right now they haave pants on sale for like $9.99 and red tag is all bogo. I bought two pair to hold me to the next 10 pounds. I didn't want to spend too much, but need at least one good fitting pair of balck dress pants for work, so this did the trick and I got two pair. Also the orange stickers are all 3.98 no matter what they are marked. I needed new spring/summer tops for work as my arm holes were nearly down to my waist when I checked last years. For $80 I ended up with two pair of pants, 7 shirts and a skirt.
