Ok...I know this was really wrong but I never told my Dad and Stepmom that I had surgery. I never even told them I was thinking about it. I saw them right before I had it done (3 1/2 months ago), and now I am flying to Florida to visit them next week. I have lost 50+ pounds since getting my band and I don't know what to say to explain it. Plus how do I explain my new eating habits? I should have told them before having the surgery but somehow it didn't feel right. Now, 3 1/2 months have passed and I don't know how to bring it up. If it was the other way around, I would be very hurt to know that a family member had not told me before having "major" surgery. Should I tell them now, wait until I reach my goal weight, or never tell them?
