That's good to hear. Last night I had bad stomach pains. Tonight I had watered oatmeal, which my doctor allows and which helped the pains. Now if my back would stop hurting.

I was banded 3/18 also and on 3 weeks of liquid diet, no mushies or anything until 22 days out! Was ravenous right after surgery, must not have had much swelling, but now that I am past the clear liquids and into the "full liquid" stage it's getting much easier. I'm not doing "meals" - I've been drinking about 600 calories and sipping on chicken broth whenever I feel hungry and the hot liquid works well at soothing the hunger pangs. I don't get any fill until 5/1, which feels like forever away. But I've lost the post-op IV weight and have been dropping about a half a pound a day, which is plenty of motivation to stick with it until I can find the sweet spot!!
