Idaho Falls or Blackfoot?

I am trying to decide whether to pursue my surgery in Idaho Falls with either Dr. David Chamberlain or Dr. Eric Baird....or in Blackfoot with Dr. Anthony Davis.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these hospitals, programs, or doctors?

I'm looking for the good, the bad and the ugly :)

Hi Amey -

I don't have any experience with the two doctors that you mentioned, but I just wanted to say hello.

I lived in Pocatello for 8 years before relocating to New Mexico. I commuted to Idaho Falls working for the INL. I was just thinking this morning that I really miss Idaho. I used to think that SW Idaho was really barren and brown....until I moved to New Mexico!

I am very impressed that both Idaho Falls and Blackfoot have surgeons that perform weight loss surgery. It is encouraging that the hospitals there are providing that kind of surgery now and you don't have to go to Salt Lake or Boise.

I really wish you luck with your surgery with whichever doctor you choose!

Melissa
