Aftering being banded, how much weight did you loose until the first fill??

I know that everyone is different, but I was wanting to get some feedback on this.

After being banded, how much weight did you loose until the first fill appointment? Just wondering if the liquid diet im about to go on helps with any weight loss.

Thanks everyone for the post!

My loss from the time I started the preop diet to my first fill was 18 pounds. I don't have an official weight for surgery day (they didn't weigh me), but according to my scale, about 8 of those were due to the preop diet.

(ETA: my first fill was 4 weeks after surgery.)

I lost 28 on my pre-op diet and 6 lb before my first fill. So, 34 lbs total. (lost NOTHING in week 3 and 4 post op).

Zero, zip, zilch. However, I lost 14 pounds from my seminar to the date of surgery (no special diet) and maintained my surgery day weight until 4 weeks postop when I had my first fill. From that point until I reached my first temporary restriction (about 3 months postop), I lost another 12-14 lbs. After reaching restriction, I lost 18+ pounds in 3 weeks. Of course, I haven't lost anything in the last 2 weeks, but hey...I can live with that.

.

I lost 17lbs on the pre-surgical diet & 5lbs in the 4 weeks since surgery. I'm going for my first fill tonight.

I lost 30lbs from intial consultation and pre-op diet, then 20lbs on the pre-op diet and 19lbs before fill (filled delayed to 8wks post-op--lost no weight on weeks 3 and 4 either

To answer the original question of "after being banded", I lost about 10 pounds.

I have lost 15 lbs. I am 3 1/2 weeks post op. No pre-op diet. I have lost the weight by sure willpower, because I am able to eat large amounts.

The first week after sugery , I lost 10 pounds. The second week, it was 5 pounds. The third week, it was 5 pounds. This past week, 1 pound. So I have lost 21 pounds since Feb. 8, 2010. I didn't have to do a pre-op diet so I didn't lose any there.

I know I didn't "eat" near enough on my two weeks of liquids. It started to slow last week when I could eat soft foods. I figured it would, but I was enjoying losing that much weight in one month. I was hoping it would continue, but I guess not . I could also tell that I'm able to eat more this past week than I probably should.

I lost 24 #s on my two week pre op diet and im one week out in post op and have lost 10# so a total of 34#s my first fill is 11 weeks away.....

since being banded 2/22 seven pounds in two weeks, been eating pureed since 3/3

during pre-op eight pounds in one week

total 15 pounds

first fill will be 3/31

From the date of surgery until the first fill I lost 22 pounds. My second fill is this Thursday and it looks like I will have lost another 9 pounds.

I am 11 days post surgery and have lost 12 lbs. First fill is scheduled for 4/6. I hope to loose another 7 lbs. by then.

After being banded 1 pound. Pre op gave me 21 pounds off, but from band to fill ( I still have 9 days until I get my first fill) so far one pound.
