Callin out to all July 2009 bandsters. Just wanting to know how much weight you have lost till now and how your journey is going. I have lost about 30 some pounds since beginnning this journey with a lot of frustration along the way. Not until recently have I felt real restriction, and I think I have a way to go also. Just wanting to connect with others who are on the same timeline as myself.

Banded 7/09/09

I got restriction pretty quick. I've had a few issues along the way, but the journey continues...............

Yes, I too was banded in July. My beginning weight was 196 and I'm now about 160; down 36 pounds since starting this journey. I got overfilled in October, and had to have aparial unfill in November; just recently for the first time in three months I am beginning to feel restriction.

If I had it to do over again, I would have done it years ago. I was self-pay, and it took me a long time to feel justified in the decision to spend that much on myself having a family and all. But, at the end of the day, an investment in my health is and will continue to be one of the best investments I've made, if not the best.

I agree. I was self pay and it is a lot of money. I should have checked the details better years ago too. I thought my weight was not high enough to justify WLS, but I'm sure it was the last couple years.

I was banded June 30th 2009, very close to you all. I had 5 fills and still not good restriction. I lost only 21 lbs since the surgery. Glad to know you all are losing so well...........

Banded July 13, 2009. Down 58 lbs and just sitting and waiting for the scale to move some more. I have had 4 fills but am only at 3.5 ccs. Last fill has me getting stuck alot. Good luck to everyone!
