First time here. Looking for new friends who have "been there"

Hello everyone!

I have been researching about WLS for many years. And have finally decided to do it. Ive been reading things here and there but now that Im serious I want to know all I can.

I have at least 100 pounds to lose and think that the Lap Band is for me. I like the idea of it not being so permanent as Gastric bypass.

I have so much to get healthy for. I have two kids and two young grandkids. I want to be able to run and play with them. but I also want to tie my shoes with ease and walk a flight of stairs without wanting to pass out.

Im looking forward to the journey and hope I meet lots of people who have allready been through it or are like me, starting out on this new journey.

Thanks everyone!:cursing:
