Almost 4 weeks post-op, and flying tomorrow...I'll be fine, right?

1. My band is empty, so pressure won't be too bad, right?

2. I won't set off any metal detectors, right?

i asked my dr about this he said you could go deep sea diving with your band and the pressure wouldn't affect it. and as for metal detectors...theres no metal in it right? :)

People fly to Mexico; get banded and then fly home the next day. You should be fine.

Yep...as posted, I flew to Mexico on Wednesday, got banded and after about 36 hours of recover at Hospital De Angeles I flew home clear across the country and had ZERO issues (well no issues that anyone else would've had)

I had the gas pains, and being trapped on the airplane sucks, but for YOUR ISSUE you'll be fine...
