Well I went for my 3rd fill last night and they now want to throw a parade in my honor...hahahaha. No but seriously since my last visit on Jan 7th I have lost 18 lbs. The PA was thrilled with my progress and thought I was nuts when I said I would like to try an adjustment. After some sweet talking she agreed to give me a small one. She gave me 1cc which brings me up to 7 total. I only had Soup last night and a cup of greek yogurt so far today so too early to tell about any restriction but am looking forward to my first meal to see how it feels. Thanks to everyone for all the good luck messages yesterday also, your support it greatly appreciated!!!!!

I thought I felt some restriction in the first couple days after the 2nd fill but not really sure, I just seem to be eating right and a lot less then I used and I'm in the gym a couple days a week. But I felt like if I wanted to eat more I could but really tried hard to behave myself. Hopefully now I will have good restriction and the pounds just keep falling off.

That is so cool! You should be super proud of yourself!! I know that my big issue right now is exercise....I need to find time to get it in everyday. My schedule is so hectic that I always seem to find an excuse as to why I can't do it! I'm sure that moving my butt would seriously help the pounds come off a lot faster. Keep up the incredible work!!! And thank you for sharing!!!

Wow... Congratulations! Thats awesome... I went in yesterday and didn't get a 3rd fill... I can barely eat as it is so he said just give him a call when I feel like I need another... I think I actually gained a pound or two the first week after my second fill because I could only get cream Soup down and I was having a cup of soup like every 90 minutes or so because I was getting hungry so fast, but the second week, things loosened up a bit and I was able to eat very carefully and by the time I went back to the Dr. after the two weeks I had a 3 pound lose from the prior visit...

Keep us updated... Your doing great....

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
