I thought I would post about my experience with Dr. Snow. I was banded on Jan. 15, 2010. He did the Single Incision surgery. So I had only one incision about 2 inches long in my belly button and one small incision (less than 1cm) where they put the liver retractor. He puts mesh on the back of the port so there is less chance of port flipping and less pain on recovery. I did not have any port pain and very little incision pain. Lots of gas pain, but I hear this from lots of banded people. He is so encouraging on my check up visits. He answered all of my questions before surgery while I was making my decision and all of my questions since.
I was nervous about the surgery, but he really quieted most of my fears. The ones I had left were just being scared of the anesthesia.
I would recommend him to anyone in my family who wants to have this surgery!!
