recent lap band - still painful

Hi, had my lap band done a week ago. Still very sore where the wound sites are, otherwise all seems to be going ok. Have lost half a stone already, but that maybe because I felt quite poorly for a few days.

Anyone else out there had their's done recently? would like to hear how other's are doing.

I was finally done yesterday Feb 11 by Dr Sigurdsson of the Hospital Group. Today is my first day home - and yes I feel quite unwell and sore. I am looking forward to that passing.

Hey,

I am having my band done by Dr Sigurdsson on Saturday. Would love to know more about how it went etc.

I am really nervous.....

How you getting on now?

What was the aftercare like with the hospital group as I have read some bad things about them. I just hope everything goes ok with me. They all seem really supportive there. :o

Would love to hear from you

Hi Angel:

Everyone recuperates differently, just concentrate on you, pamper yourself and the rest will be fine. You wil loose but you will gain, don't worry about that everyone does, just work on getting stronger and healing properly.

Good luck and Congratulations!~

Hey just to update all.

My Op went really well. I am just a little sore but other than that I am feeling great.

I had really bad shoulder pain yesterday and was worried that maybe a nerve had been trapped during the op, however my shoulder is ok today, I must have been really stiff.

All in all no regrets at all.

The Hospital was really good and and you can certainly tell the difference between private care and NHS.

Heres to new beginings!
