I am post op from lap band surgery.  Had it done on weds 27 Jan.  Now it's sunday and am still in quite a lot of pain where the entry wound sites are.  How long does this last?  Have actually lost nearly half a stone already due to being only able to 'eat' slop!  Am drinking smoothies etc. to keep the vitamins up but find it hard to enjoy anything.  Had a post op canular infection in arm which hasn't helped so am on high dosage of penicillin which is also making me feel bad.  At one point the other day, I really regretted the op.I had the op done as I am an emotional eater and have dieted over the last few years sometimes with success but it always goes back on.  I needed to get control back on my over eating.  If the food was there, I would eat it if I wanted it or not!  Need to lose at least 3 - 4 stone to get down to my ideal weight and size.  This will help with my asthma and back pain I'm sure.Would like to hear from anyone who has gone through this stage and felt the same.  I know it will be worth it in the long run but it is so damn painful.  Have a good support team from the company NOSC that I booked through and they are great at ringing me every day to see how I am.  Not the same as someone who has gone through it themselves.Anyone out there?
