No weight loss in over 2 weeks & I was banded 4 weeks ago :(

Well I keep stepping on the scale, and no change in weight. I'm breastfeeding my 3 month old full time. That doesn't seem to affect anything. I feel no restriction in the band at this point. I get my first fill in 2 weeks. I've started walking and doing the Wii fit thing. Haven't had a chance to get to the gym yet. I'm getting discouraged. Any suggestions?

Just having the lapband installed doesn't make you lose weight. Burning more calories than you eat makes you lose weight. The lapband, once sufficient Fluid has been added to it will make you feel full sooner.

Start logging what you are eating and counting the calories. Try to keep your intake below 1,500 calories.

Most of all, drink plenty of Water. No joke. The water is a necessity for weight loss. At least 64 ounces a day.

* I have no clue what kind of foods you should be concentrating mostly on in order to nurse your baby.
