I'm so sorry. I'd call the doctor or whoever is on call---it seems to me most folks are constipated rather than have loose stool. Better to be safe.

Unless you've been taking laxatives call your dr ASAP.

I was banded on the 11th and had the same problem, and it turned out that I was fine -- but absolutely call your doctor. I would follow up with his/her office if you experience anything of concern -- that is what they are there for, and it's always better to be safe than sorry. Hope you feel better soon!

congrats hope you feel better soon i had my surgery on the 18th as well and i feel fine just a little reacurring gas problem...hoping it will go away soon well good luck to you

My experience is that you must be following your doctors orders of nothing but clear liquids. I bet you are drinking beef broth. It did that to me. In fact, the liquid diet kept me going, a lot. It will improve once you are taking something other than clear liquids. I found that I looked at it as a cleaning out time! Good luck on your journey. B)

Thankyou all I feel better today, I spoke to someone from my doctors office when they did a check in call on me and she didn't say anything. However my twin was banded the same day and she says shes still having bad chest pains, im not sure if its normal? Does anyone know if its normal, she keeps asking me if i have chest pain but mine is kinda under my breast radiating to my back.
