Help! Can't find a doctor to do a fill in my area!

Absolutely frustrated! I am a self pay patient and can't find a provider to do a fill! One scheduler even called me a liar when I said I had my surgery in CO. She said I'm sure you had it in Mexico and our surgeons don't deal with that! Then if I found a surgeon who will do out of state patients, they don't take self-pay! I need a fill!!!! I would fly to CO but Dr. K is out till Jan. 11 and I don't want to risk the snow and getting stuck in Denver. The thing is that I called these places before my surgery and they were all nice about taking over care, now it's the total run around that will take months!!!!!! HELP

Can you have your surgeon send you a copy of your records so you can prove you didnt' use a doctor in Mexico?

I am frustrated by the fact that people are so against Mexican docs. I guess because they have lower overhead they can do the surgery so much cheaper that it creates problems for them. I'm sorry you are having trouble finding a fill doc. Best of luck with it.....
