  1. I am sorry to hear that! It sucks to get down! I went through the same thing and everyone told me it will pass, and sure enough it did! Just stick with it and remember to get lots of protein in!!! Lack of protein can cause you to feel depressed/ angry. Keep in touch and hope you feel better soon!

  2. Hola Chica lol....just kidding! I think its awesome that you had the balls to go and get want you wanted! A lot of people , me included, would never be so brave. And I think its a good choice to keep it from peole until you are ready. I mean why have to deal with haters! I really really wish I had limited who I told! All I can say is congrats and good for you! Ps the swelling will go down, but it takes some time. I couldn't sleep on my stomach for a good month after, and now its like nothing.

  3. Week 12 and I'm down 43lbs. I am so happy to see the numbers are still moving. I have been trying to walk everyday, I wish it wasn't so cold and wet out. I really, do, need to step up my water intake! Like I really really need too!!! Oppsies! LOL

  4. Hi! Yeah!!! Now I have someone I can talk with. I was banded Dec 10th and got pregnant on Jan 14th. LOL :tongue_smilie: I am down 42lbs and losing slow as well. I have one fill so far. I am so happy for you! Keep in touch. Ps do you have an est due date yet? I'm Oct 15th, but my first real appt is on March 3rd so we will see.

  5. It's soooooo normal to be scared! I was a train wreck the night before, but it's so fast and so worth it! You wake up after what feels like seconds and that's that. It will be done and over before you know it. And the best part of all is, everyone is so nice and friendly and helping because you had surgury (but in truth it doesn't feel like you have). LOL I loved milking it! :tongue_smilie: Take care and try to relaxe! Ps Good luck and keep us updated!

  6. It's week 11 and I am down 42lbs. I can really start to feel it now, and couldn't be happier. The first time I was pregnant I weighed over 260lbs and ended up at 280. I am happy to say that I am 217 pounds this time around, so by the end of everything I should still weigh a lot less then I started at last time! :tongue_smilie: On another note this weekend I went to Tahoe with my husband and some friends and couldn't believe how much energy I had. We were out and about all day and night and I kept up. It feels really good to be losing weight and getting healthy. Ps as soon as my friend uploads the pics I will, finally, update my pics!!!

  7. If I were you I would drink and drink and drink tons of water before I went. Then you will easily being holding that 5 extra pounds. Also wear thick heavy jeans and put keys in your pockets!!! The first weigh in is the only one that matters (at least at kaiser) it was. GOOD LUCK!!! Ps it might be fun to "have" to gain a few pounds lol

  8. That's awesome! I swear in 9 months I am so back on track! You guys are going to have done circles around me by then, but hopefully you will still be my friend when I'm a "newbie" again and you are super skinny! LOL JK :frown: Keep it up!!! PS a good trick for the gym is to download new music b4 you go and don't let yourself listen to it until you are there. Thats what I always do, and it helps me stay longer.
