  1. ((((Hugs))) Sweetie! I am so sorry for your friends passing. I have heard of complications, too. Please keep yourself well. God bless you, and visit us, we are friendly here, but I know online friends are not the same as your friend since nursery school! Karen
  2. Congrats on your motivation! You are doing great!
  3. Hi pokerkat! Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are recovering well. You, also, sound like you have a great attitude to boot! Keep smiling, walking and hydrated. Best wishes. Karen
  4. Welcome, and best wishes on your weightloss and on your. Congratulations on your success!
  5. Love Tom Clancy novels, he passed away today! RIP, Tom!
  6. Looking good! NSV are greatest! Love shopping NSV's!
  7. My son makes shepherd pie, a lot. There are a lot of gluten free things now! Publix, and probably Kroger's marks their shelves!
  8. When I was on lisinopril, (off all blood pressure meds), I did not develop a cough. I usually get all the bad side effects from meds! So, as others said call your doc!
  9. My whole family is gluten free. My husband, and daughter and family have gluten intolerance, my son is celiac, too. Don't think that gluten free is low calorie. It is not diet food. There are a lot of choices, now of days. Almost, all restaurants will offer gluten free options. If you like bread, we use Udi's. My family really likes the Udi's frozen bagels. Real butter is probably your best choice, if you can tolerate dairy. Best wishes!
  10. Hope in his case its not the female thing! HAHA!Best wishes to him tho'!
  11. OOOPs! just reread your 1st message, and congrats on a great NSV, able to get into your engagement dress!
  12. You look fantastic! Congratulations on your engagement!
  13. That is why I was glad that I dieted before my surgery! I started eating off a salad size plate and never tried to overeat! I agree, you were able to eat earlier than most. But YOU need to control your intake! best wishes.
  14. No, can't say that I have had the same problem, like b-52, I felt more energetic and happy losing weight. Maybe you need to take some vitamins or something. Are you exercising? You sounds like you need an outlet for your irritability. Best wishes.
  15. Been studies that says that women need a couple cups of coffee a day to ward off problems such as depression and may reduce skin cancer. For me, it just helps me focus for the day, plus it helps with my morning BM(to be blunt)! Well here's to coffee, as I left my cup to the day!
  16. I agree with both b-52 and carolinagirl. You may be consuming too much water too quickly. AT this point, I was just sipping. I still don't guzzle after almost 4 years. I have learned to take small drinks just as you should, when you start eating solids, take small bites of food. And i agree about laying down and drinking. I used to have a glass near my bed to drink when thirsty. I, now, make myself get out of bed for a drink to allow the liquid to proceed down my tube. Best wishes on your healing!
  17. Sounds like the best to me! I felt better with my surgeon doing my fills!
  18. You look great! This is a great NSV!
  19. Congratulations to your new you!
  20. Woohoo!great NSV!
  21. Good reason for me to only have the surgeon do fills!
  22. Wow, aggressive fills are not the best for us! But if you feel that you needed a fill, then more power too you!
