  5. My surgeon, when a patient 1st starts out, can be a little aggressive, but by the time a patient is at your level, he is a little leery to add much. Mostly, in my case at least, my fills were very slow after 16 months.
  6. I, also, drink, (but mostly take sips) before meals. I try to keep the after meals to a minimum. I try to follow the 30-60 mins after. Sometimes its hard to do. But generally, if I take a drink, i ts only a sip to clear my palette! Karen
  7. Welcome LainieG, it is great that you will have a "real life" mentor. I am sure that she will be a great help to you. Visit us as often s you like, we are friendly and wish to help others in their journey! Best wishes on your journey to the "new" you!
  8. Yes, hopefully the ER you go to will have a bariatric surgeon on call. It sounds like a slip. I have had one, I keep a lose band now. Better a slight weight gain than permanent damage to your body! Best wishes.
  9. No ideas about singing band, but will add that the potato skin is bad! Potato skins are not band friendly!
  10. So sorry, (((hugs))) I hope that you can find an answer to your problem!
  11. Once again, I am so sorry. That is a shameful thing to have happen. God bless!
  12. You sound a little too tight, call suroegn's office to have a slight unfill, maybe just .5 cc

  16. I agree, the protein shake is almost a must to get enough of your protein in. I also, have a protein shake for breakfast. I mix my with water, 1/2 banana and few pumpkin seeds and frozen strawberries. Yummy enough that my husband has one, too!
