  1. I got one just thought of, wearing my neck chains without an extension!
  2. I am searching for a new home for my candy, too! Think I will take it to church. There are always plenty of munchkins who will eat it there!
  3. Wow! I see a great change, looking good!
  4. Pretty normal at 1st. I don't, usually, get growling anymore, now, but I am 4 years out!
  5. I hope that everything goes your way, Best wishes!
  6. Glad you enjoyed yourself!
  7. I agree with NaNa! I see my surgeon every 2-3 months just to keep an eye on myself. I guess, if I felt that I was totally in control, which after 4 years, I should be, I would wait longer between appointments. My visits to him keeps me honest with myself and him, kind of like WW followups! Karen
  8. My surgeon has his patients follow same plan as fills, 2 days clear liquids, 2 days full liquids! Best wishes!!!
  9. Well, since most of my family eat gluten free, we ask for either gluten free rolls or no rolls. Them my daughter, son and I have had lapband surgery, so when going with them, which is who I usually eat with, we order either 1/2 meals or off the appetizer menu. One time, we were at a DisneyWorld restaurant, and had their French onion soup, gluten free and then shared a very small desert. Both my son and I were quite satisfied!
  10. Mine barely puts you into twilight. But you have to have someone else to drive you, and then go home and sleep for 4 hours to give your eyes a rest!
  11. What the others said. My surgeon was happy with any loss. I remember losing like maybe 1-2 lbs most months.
  12. You are a new and improved and younger B-52! Great to hear!!I love my lasik eye surgery. (I do have to wear reading glasses, tho')!!
  13. You are such a motivator, carolinagirl! Now that you are skinny, you are good at using your new found strength of spirit to help others. (and I love the new you in your picture)!
  14. Looking good Jim and Kelly! Even layered clothes are huge! Jim, my wedding ring was a 6, I had it cutoff about 23 years ago. i had it fixed for my personal Christmas present last year. It hasn't been off since. (replacement ring now I wear on my middle finger of my right hand).
  15. Great idea, NaNA. That was my 1st impression when reading it, too!
  16. Best wishes, just let your surgeon know if you are too tight!
  17. Best wishes. My port turned over a little after losing 100 lbs. I might have to go for smaller port, but if I get no fill(since I can't tolerate more than 5, and have 5), I see no reason to do so.
  18. Glad to hear that you are trying to get back on track!
  19. Best wishes to you all! I tend to associate most of the problems with wheat and the by-products of same. But, even if you are not allergic or celiac, you might have intolerance for it. Our wheat is bad in the USA, because it has been so cleaned up. Best wishes to all sufferers!
  20. Donna, please try Truvia, it is natural. My son-in-law is very affected by aspartame. He gets bad headaches, and other problems. studies are not always as accurate as people are. Sorry, missy, don't want to start a debate here. But, if this problem just started, it is so worth a try to get off something and try something else! best wishes!
  21. Congrats, mine is coming up on Oct 30. How are you doing?
  22. Best wishes to you newbies! Sounds as if you are doing great. Dufflings, please don't pick up your little ones. It can be big damage to you! Just keep sipping, you don't need to try drinking a glass of water right away, sip, sip sip!!!!
