  1. Hi, I cooked a turkey, set eh table myself. I only eat of salad size plates. One small plate and that was plenty for me! There were 6 adults, 4 of which had lapband surgery, so I had a 10 lb bird and sent most of the remanider home with the adults hwo have children. The main problem in that is that others have been looking for non-existant leftovers!
  2. Hi lwiggins, how are you doing? Well I hope! check in when you get a chance.
  3. I can't see if anyone actually answered this, bu tin my case, and most othrs, the port is the biggest insision.
  4. All I can say is ouch! Good healing to all of you! Take care!
  5. You can feel restriction with liquid diet! Best wishes!
  6. I agree with others. If this is YOUR surgeon's diet, you should be fine! It doesn't sound like an enormous amount of food. I have to add, that you are lucky to be able to advance that quickly, my surgeon makes us do Clear liquids for a week following surgery.
  7. My best advice is be aware that you will get pumped with gas and then for the next several days have pain; if you ge tpain in your left shoulder, do not be alarmed! My best advice is to walk a much as possible, and try to do it upright! Best wishes!!
  8. My daughter was that way back in 2009. I had just gone on solids. Tha was the year that we went out to eat, we took home 8 boxes of food!I am so glad that you did well and no cheating, either!

  13. Yes, it sound slike he suspcts a slip. My surgeon has me stand in front of the floroscope, or whatever its called. he can tell if it slipped or if I am too tight. Best wishes!!!
  14. When I set the table, I still use a salad plate and like B-52, my band controls the amounts I can eat. So I do not try to overeat, but might try a little of this and that. Happy Thanskgiving to all!
  15. I agree. For some, 100 lbs is only 1/2 way or 1/4 to goal. Others, 100 lbs is their goal. So it depends on starting weight, and it does seem that the folks who have more lose lose the 1st 100 quicker than others. Best wishes, all
  16. Woohoo! Congrats, wow you ar doing marvelous to have lost that since 10/13,oh happy day!
  17. Best wishes, we are here for you. And as B-52 stated sometimes you have to realize what caued your refulx. I can't eat past 8. If I do, I will be up all night caoughing, too! Your surgeon will not yell at you, reflux is common and taking the fil out is the fix. Make sure that you did not have a slip, too!
  18. Congratulations to you! You have a great size baby boy there! Glad that you were able to lose your pregnancy weight. I found that nuring got me back into shape. Are you nursing him? 20. Great advise! Thanks for this, newbies and oldies sometimes need reminders! Head hunger can be our biggest enemy!
  21. It has been about 6-months to a year since I had a unfill. I am great unless I eat something that doesn't like my band. It started 2 days agao, and I have had to be gentle with my band. I will be okay, but even after 4 years, I still make mistakes!
