Hello I just had a baby 7 months ago and it seems like I'm lost. I need help with my food how many of you count your calories? Or how many of you track your food or water please help me giver ideas. I so feel like I'm a newbie lol. I have been banded since 2009.

Hola chica I so know what you are talking about i feel the same way. I had lapband done in dec 8, 09 and guess how much i have lost only 30 pounds and still have lots to go. The way i see it it's 30lbs that i hope never to see again. If you need any motivation or anything email me i will be your lapband buddy...

Ok so I drink 2 bottles of 64 oz of water but I always put in the little package of sugar free green ice tea to give my water a little flavor so it’s not too boring:blink:. My question is would that count as drink water or should I be drinking only water with nothing in it. I get a little confused:cursing: sometimes…

Yay I went to my dr. for another fill and he told me that i had lost 7lbs yay that's a small little puppy. It's a little hard cause i don't eat as much as i did before but my mind thinks bigger them my pouch....lol I will keep you all posted with my progress... thanks guy's....:biggrin:

So yesterday I went to talk to my Dr. about what’s going on with band he asked me a few question one of the question was “could you eat a hole sandwiches in one sitting” I said yes because I can. So he said lets give you a fill it seem that you don’t have enough fluid in your band. So he gave me what he called a very aggressive fill. Said not to have anything solid till Monday when someone is in the office he would not want me to have a stuck episode during the weekend. Now I do fill like I have real restrictions even when I drink water it goes down pretty slow. I have been reading peoples stories when the have a stuck episode and to tell you the true I’m really scared to have one. What is all this about slime and PB not to sure what that means. Since I guess I have never been in this situation. What do we do when something gets stuck? Do people go to the ER? Or just try to throw up? If you guys could help me so when this does happened I could be a little prepared.

Thank you all for the advice.. I don't see my Dr. i see his nurse practitioner She won’t give me the fills that I need. As a matter of fact iv called her to ask if I could get a fill a few weeks after she gave me the last one and guess what she said no. I had to wait cause sometimes it takes time. I know the process is slow but not this slow???? So I called my Doctor to see if we could talk about what’s going on i have an appointment with him next week.. So lets cross our fingers that he gives me a fill. I will keep you guy's posted... lots of thanks...

So I had my surgery on Dec 8:bored: and I have only lost 16 lbs not good at all. I don’t know what to do I’m so frustrated, discouraged I have so many mixed emotions with this I don’t know what to do. I’m not going to lie I eat almost how I used to eat. I have had 4 fills my band is a 10 cc and I’m at 5.5 and I have no restrictions what so ever not even with bread. What I have been feeling is if I lay on my stomach in the middle of the night I want to throw up. To top it off this last fill that I had I feel like I’m always hungry all the time. I need some advice please help me I want to be a success like everyone on this page but I don’t’ know what to do.I’m so lost ugh I just get so upset:sneaky:. Sorry Band family but I need to vent…

Well first they could not find my port it was to the side. I went about 3weeks ago to have another fill and she told me to wait another month. At times i think why did i do this if it's not working for me. I read everyones post on here and it makes me sad cause I'm still on step one.....

Has anyone had a fill but under an xray? I have tried to have a fill 3 times and they have not been able to do it. I went to have an xray done to see if the port was in place and it was so Dr. went in to do my fill for the 3 time and could not do AT ALL. Let me say it was so painful. So now what we are going to do is go the hosptial while they are taking the xray Dr will be doing the fill to see were the needle is at. Let me know if anyone has had this done.:confused::thumbup:
