Question about water...

Ok so I drink 2 bottles of 64 oz of water but I always put in the little package of sugar free green ice tea to give my water a little flavor so it’s not too boring:blink:. My question is would that count as drink water or should I be drinking only water with nothing in it. I get a little confused:cursing: sometimes…

Yay I went to my dr. for another fill and he told me that i had lost 7lbs yay that's a small little puppy. It's a little hard cause i don't eat as much as i did before but my mind thinks bigger them my pouch....lol I will keep you all posted with my progress... thanks guy's....:biggrin:

Is scared to have a Stuck episode

So yesterday I went to talk to my Dr. about what’s going on with band he asked me a few question one of the question was “could you eat a hole sandwiches in one sitting” I said yes because I can. So he said lets give you a fill it seem that you don’t have enough fluid in your band. So he gave me what he called a very aggressive fill. Said not to have anything solid till Monday when someone is in the office he would not want me to have a stuck episode during the weekend. Now I do fill like I have

I?m so frustrated, discouraged HELP

So I had my surgery on Dec 8:bored: and I have only lost 16 lbs not good at all. I don’t know what to do I’m so frustrated, discouraged I have so many mixed emotions with this I don’t know what to do. I’m not going to lie I eat almost how I used to eat. I have had 4 fills my band is a 10 cc and I’m at 5.5 and I have no restrictions what so ever not even with bread. Question

Has anyone had a fill but under an xray? I have tried to have a fill 3 times and they have not been able to do it. I went to have an xray done to see if the port was in place and it was so Dr. went in to do my fill for the 3 time and could not do AT ALL. Let me say it was so painful. So now what we are going to do is go the hosptial while they are taking the xray Dr will be doing the fill to see were the needle is at. Let me know if anyone has had this done.:confused::thumbup:

So cold is this normal

Hello bandsters how are you guy's. I hope you all had a great xmas and you have a great New year.   So I was banded on Dec 8th and since i got out of the hospital i have been so cold. Does anyone get super cold. I was the kind of person who was ALWASYS so hot but now Im always cold. Let me now if this is happing to anybody else...... Thanks

Need help

Ok so i really think i need a fill i could eat anything and thats not good. I need help could you guy's give me some advise PLEASE.......:tt2: I was able to eat everything for the holidays. Should i do another week of liquids? I don't know what to do i go see my dr. on Jan 24 but i have to loss some weight before then.

Question reg: gas

So this is my 3rd day and i don't think i have had any gas pain like what i have read the only thing is that my back hurts a little not that much. I feel really weak and I really don't get hungry but i know this shell all pass. Could you guys answer my question with the gas and how it feells thanks.

So I got banded on tuesday and I keep thinking what have i done. When does this get any better I really don't get hungery but I feel like my body needs food help me guys give me some advise. thant

So tomorrow is my big day just to thinking that tomorrow at this time I will be banded I am super scared just thinking of all the bad things that could happen to me while beginning under! which I know I should really be think of ALL THE GOOD THINGS that await me….. I’m so happy :lol:yesterday I went for my pre op and it was pretty good and today I had my interview with the hospital to go over what I need to do on Tuesday before my surgery. I can’t believe its just around the corner. I’m having all this mixed emotions im nervous scared happy you name and I am feeling it. I think what really scares me is going under. :w00t:I am so happy to have finally been approved for surgery. I didn't have any trouble with my insurance they said yes right away. Now Im just waiting for my Dr. office to call me to schedule my appt for surgery. I have two weeks off from Dec 17 to Jan 5 do you guy's think that would be ok to recover from the surgery? it would be two weeks. I can't wait to be a real part of this....

Question regarding hiccups?

SOrry for this silly question but what happends when you get hiccups? I have not been banded yet in till Dec but i keep reading people that post they had hiccups and they get what? What does that mean I want to be well informed so when I get banded i could know what is going on..   How does it feel when food gets stuck do you feel like you are chocking?

Nutritonal Supplements?

So today I went to see my nutritionist and she told me that Im going to have to start taking supplements:confused: and she give me a brochure for this product call Bariatric Advantage nutritional supplements so I went to the website but was lost:cursing:. Has anyone ever used this product? I would like to get some feed back before I place an order. She said that the supplements are for those of us that are going to have or had surgery they even sell protein. Let me know if you guy's use this and

My Nutriiton Diet blah...

So its been a week since I went for my nutrition consult and she has me on this diet that I have to eat 5 times a day and it's super hard cause I forget or im super busy and I have to keep a journal of my diet. I really need to do this right cause this is all i need to submitte to my insurance for my approval. but its super hard. Did anyone have to do this when you guy's went to your consult?

Hello new family lol I have a question does anyone on this site have there surgery done with either Dr. Robert Mckeen of san jose, ca, or Dr. Mark Vierra of monterey ca? I have seen both of them but I can't make up my mind :smile2: of who I want to have my surgery done by? I would like to have feed back to see what the outcome was if you had your surgery by them. My first nutrition consult

So today was my first nutriton consult and it was great I meet with this wonderful lady that seems to really want to help me. The only thing is that I don't think she is so for the surgery, she didn't striaght up say anything but you could feel it. She did give me alot of information. I start a diet today with lot's of protein and I have to have breakfast which i have never had time to do. The only thing is she told me it would take 6 visite for me to get any paper work to my doctor from her, Wh

SO Im going to get banded on dec 18 but my question is I had panic attacks before and now Im on lexapro for them I have not had one in a long time which is great. but im just a little scared that they will come back. Does anyone who has had the surgery have the same problem like me with the panic attacks
