You'll feel better in a few days. I went camping a few days after banding, crazy! I remember being pretty miserable but I made myself walk around the campground. Rest, drink my liquid, walk some more. It really does get better and once you heal and the band starts working for you --- woooo whoooo! It's the best!

Once you start getting protein in you (shakes etc), you will feel much better. And mentally "what have i done," that feeling went away for me about week 3 or 4. It does go away. It may not feel like it, but I promise it does. I am SO happy I got the band now. Don't regret a second of it.

I had one really bad night of crying over the "what have I done" syndrome. Now that I am 2 months out from surgery, I realize that it's not that bad. It's only because you don't know what to expect right now that you feel that way. It will get better. I don't regret having it done at all. I just hope to lose weight more quickly than I have been.
