i have always been extremly overweight since i was a young child. my boyfriend, who is also extremly overweight, decided that we needed to do something so the both of us looked into the lap band. I went for my visit in August and by October i had the surgery done. it was the best thing i could of ever done. I just had my first adjustment yesterday so i'm still dealing with little things here and there, but i wouldn't change anything!
