I had losted 62 lbs., since the fill which was only a half cc, I have not had much restriction and I am sorry to say I have gained 6 pounds. What is going on, things had been going so well, at least up till October. I was very restricted and not hungry between meals. I want to get back on track, any suggestions or advice is welcomed!!

At my job they are having a contest titled The Biggest Loser, I was told that I could enter even though I had, had Lap- band Surgery. It has now been 4 wks. and I am ready to call it quits. We have to weigh in, every week, and it makes me feel like I am competing against myself, My weight has flactuated so much, wk. one, I weighed 249, after my 2nd fill, I weighed 247, then I lost a couple of pounds it read 239, last week 238, and today 243. I am becoming frustrated. I work out almost every day and I watch what I eat. After I weighed, the lady on the commitee had the audacity to ask me was I watching what I was eating. I wanted to slap her. She did'nt know that 4 months ago I weighed 276, I don't think being in the contest is the best thing for me, I think I need to go ahead on my Lap-band® journey all by myself.:tt1:

  6. I agree with you totally,I must admit I do weigh constantly, I know I need to stop. I have gone from a size 24 to size 18 in jeans. It has been 4 months since I had my surgery, thats' good news despite whether the needle on the scale does'nt say what I want it to say.

I feel the exact same way, I recieved my 2nd fill this past Wed., I had gained 3 lbs. I have been working out since I started on the 6th of January. My Dr. says it is muscle that I have gained, my body is doing silly things, because when I weighed Fri. morning I had lost the 3lbs. I gained. Since the second fill, I still don't feel the restriction I want to feel, when I am eating. I had my surgery on Nov. 2nd, I have lost 32 lbs. I was hoping to be at 40 lbs. by now. I only recieved 1 and half cc's this time. I was reading a recent post, the person brought up a liquid diet, maybe this will jump start my weight loss again. My Dr. says to give it time and stop stressing.

I have not had an adjustment since December 9,last year. That was my first one, my surgery was on Nov. 2nd. I went to see the dietician in Jan. I had lost 7 lbs. I have been working out regularly since last month. My weight has been swaying from 240 to 246, I don't understand what's going on. I am getting frustated, I have increase my protein intake. My second adjustment is scheduled of this Wed., it's been about 10 wks. since the last one. I have went from 276 to 244, that is'nt bad but I want to to get to that 40 lb. mark. Does anyone have any advice?

  13. I feel the exact same way, I am almost 5 weeks,post-op. I can eat over 4oz. I am suppose to be getting an adjustment in 3 days. I have'nt felt any tightness since I had my surgery on Nov. 2nd.
  14. Thank you so much for your encouraging words.
  15. I am writing to find out if anyone has had any problems with their incisions.:wink2: I am 4 weeks post-op. and a couple days ago after Thanksgiving, one of my incision started to leak. I used peroxide like the Dr. on call told me to do. I went to see the Surgeon today, he drained the incision and prescribed an antibiotic Bactrium. I wanted the lapband so bad, now I am worried.
