infection in surgical incision

I am writing to find out if anyone has had any problems with their incisions.:wink2: I am 4 weeks post-op. and a couple days ago after Thanksgiving, one of my incision started to leak. I used peroxide like the Dr. on call told me to do. I went to see the Surgeon today, he drained the incision and prescribed an antibiotic Bactrium. I wanted the lapband so bad, now I am worried.

DO not worry. I had a leaky incision spot under my bra area it was gone in a week to 10 days. It was sore, pussy and ugly. I can not even see the spot where it was now. I am 5 months now and LOVE my Band. Your body will go thru so many changes the first two months. I noticed the changes the most during that time period. Everything gets better with time and rest for healing. I have lost over 68 pounds, Best wishes to you on your Band journey. imaluckydog Kathy
