I s there anyone that has been banded over a year. My band anniversary was Nov. 2, I got my last fill on Oct. 28. I had losted 62 lbs., since the fill which was only a half cc, I have not had much restriction and I am sorry to say I have gained 6 pounds. What is going on, things had been going so well, at least up till October. I was very restricted and not hungry between meals. I want to get back on track, any suggestions or advice is welcomed!!
At my job they are having a contest titled The Biggest Loser, I was told that I could enter even though I had, had Lap- band Surgery. It has now been 4 wks. and I am ready to call it quits. We have to weigh in, every week, and it makes me feel like I am competing against myself, My weight has flactuated so much, wk. one, I weighed 249, after my 2nd fill, I weighed 247, then I lost a couple of pounds it read 239, last week 238, and today 243. I am becoming frustrated. I work out almost every day
I have not had an adjustment since December 9,last year. That was my first one, my surgery was on Nov. 2nd. I went to see the dietician in Jan. I had lost 7 lbs. I have been working out regularly since last month. My weight has been swaying from 240 to 246, I don't understand what's going on. I am getting frustated, I have increase my protein intake. My second adjustment is scheduled of this Wed., it's been about 10 wks. since the last one. I have went from 276 to 244, that is'nt bad but I want
I recieved my first adjustment, it was'nt so bad, I really hav'nt been hungry today. My next appt. is Feb. 17,2010, I guess this is when I will recieve the 2nd fill, I thought I would recieve one earlier. I am 5 weeks post-op., finally realizing it is all about portion control. I have lost 25lbs, in all Thank God!!:tongue2:
I am writing to find out if anyone has had any problems with their incisions.:wink2: I am 4 weeks post-op. and a couple days ago after Thanksgiving, one of my incision started to leak. I used peroxide like the Dr. on call told me to do. I went to see the Surgeon today, he drained the incision and prescribed an antibiotic Bactrium. I wanted the lapband so bad, now I am worried.
