  1. How is all the December delights doing? I'm doing ok. A year ago I had to have a band revision due to a slipped band. I am still down but have gained back about 20 lbs that just does not want to leave. I am still down over 70 lbs though. So give a shout out on how you are all doing?
  2. Hi all I have accomplished a lot in the last year. I have defiantly had my battles but am trying my best to keep being successful. I had issues with the band being toooo tight and eventually had to have all but 1 cc in a 10 cc band removed. I have been struggling to keep within 5 lbs of my lowest weigh. I go up 5 lose 5. It is kind of good because I can eat everything. I have lost 84 lbs to date and am very proud of that considering all of the issues I did run into.. I will be starting to get my band filled up again on the 18th. I will be asking for at least 1.5 ccs for my fill. I want to get this losing back on the road... Clothes I went from a size 24, 3-4x to a size 14-16 pants and a l-xl in shirts. I am sooo proud of myself. I have read a few posts of individuals who are not having some of the same success.... i hope that you are able to go back to where you had your surgery and have them help you, I have an amazing support team from where I had surgery. I am hoping everyone else does as well... Hope everyone continues to have some success in the next year and a half. Huggzz all around...
  3. WOw everyone looks like they are doing really well on their weightloss. Congrats to all you december delights...
  4. Hey everyone just checking in.. ALso Patricia when are we going to meet up for tea.. LOL would be good to meet up with you.. Hope everyone is well...
  5. Well I bought a new scale and it is reading 2. something pounds heavier. So I because my heaviest weight was weighed on my scale I am getting rid of I am just adding the 2 lbs to my heaviest weight. Crazy but I am not willing to give up my 40 lbs lost goal.. Not sure what others did for this but yeah.. I bought a ww scale and am hoping it holds up for at least a year... How is everyone else doing..
  6. Hey Lyn I have lost your blog site again... How are you doing?? We need to met up one day... I have been talking with Suzanne a couple of times through emails.. Hope to catch up soon... Michelle

I had surgery on Dec 2 o9 and am still counting calories. I plan for around 1200 a day.. i do not want my body to think I am in starvation mode. Each of us is different you have to play around to figure out how many your body needs to lose weight. I have an Iphone and use a free app called loose it. I love it so far. Do not get frustrated if you read most of our blogs at the stage you are in now most of us can relate. patience is a hard part of this process. I always want instant gratification. i am learning that this is a long process and to love my band one day at a time.. I too make sure to drink at least a min of 2 litres of water a day. I also have green tea but do not include that into my water rations. Keep your chin up it will get better...

  10. Awesome job on the weight-loss and your first social outing. That is weird cause I have had a couple of sips of my hubbies pop when nothing else was available to take meds and it does not affect me. I still would not sit and drink a full can but yeah weird. I am feeling great restriction now and can see a big difference in how much I am eating.. Cool that you are starting to walk the weather has been sooo amazing. I love it. Except for today in the rain.. Oh yeah for me I had 3 or 3.5 in from surgery. It may vary so you will know on your first fill what you have in there. I did not notice any restriction untill my second fill when I was at 5 ccs. Now at 5.25 I feel even better restriction. WIll see if it holds up usually after two weeks it is less but am crossing fingers this is it... I know what restriction is now and I am not going back.. You too will soon know what it is. How long before your first fill??? WE still have to meet and have lunch one day here.. We were down there today for costco, walmart and watched alice in wonderland.. Keep up the awesome work.. Have you started a blog yet. I get so much support from the other bloggers at blogspot. I love it... Talk soon Michelle
  11. Hey antonella how are you doing??? I am officially down now 40.4 lbs today.. I am so happy...

I have become severely obsessed with bloggerland. I feel like I spend so much time reading about everyone else's journeys. I love it. It keeps me motivated, happy and also find I can relate to some of the stories and shed a few tears. I go onto everyones sites and continue to find new people to follow on here. I love it. Couple questions for the pros out there. How do you know you are at your sweet spot??? I notice at 5 ccs I get full easy but also find I get hungry early and start to snack on things. Now does that mean I need a bit more of a fill?? I am going for one tomorrow. I have also noticed with some food it hurts when it passes through the band. I have learned to be a lot more careful. I have also had some food get stuck but am learning slowly what those foods are. I have also learned that I am tight in the morning and I have to take it easy in the morning and try to get water before I try to eat. I also enjoy tea and freshly juiced vegetable and fruit juices. Another question my hair has started to fall out a lot. I know that it was like this after any of my surgeries and that it can not be food related because I have never eat so healthy before. So my question to you is how long before it quits falling out??? I have lots of hair so not worried about going bald but dang I hate getting handfuls out. Well off to watch the rest of my soaps I got behind on blogs and on my favourite shows being away.. Just wanted you all to know that I love each and everyone one of you for all the support you share with me. I come here for the motivation. I hope that I can help everyone as much as you have helped me.. HUGZ all the way around..:rolleyes2:
