In a Rut :-/

Hi Everyone! I had LapBand surgery roughly 3 years ago. I went in at 290 pounds, and lost most of the weight during the liquid phase of the process before surgery. I wont lie, I didnt follow any of the rules after surgery. I found myself hungry all the time. I have only had about 3-4 fills, and each time I go, I still find myself hungry all the time. About a year ago, I decided enough was enough and joined a gym and stopped eating my favorite food..potatoe chips! I wound up losing a total of 100 pounds, and on my own!! Unfortunately, the weight I lost has found me once again! I have gained about 10 pounds in the past few months, and stopped going to the gym. Im in a serious rut because I gave away all my "fat clothes"..I guess what I am trying to say, is that I need some support. I need a good healthy diet to get me going. I cant eat chicken every night, and I refuse to go get another fill. Does anyone have any diet suggestions they can share??

I am the last to give advice.... but 100 pounds that really impressive! Keep up the good work. I once lost alot of weight by eating only half the portion I once ate.. it worked! I would get another fill... The band is there to help... use all you can! Good luck :sneaky:

yeah i would go for another fill...its there to help you...as far as diet wise...i suggest ham, turkey, tuna or any fish for that matter...do stemmed veggies stuff like that...less sugar the better...actually i would also recommend looking at a diabetic cookbook...most of them are really healthy meals and taste pretty good!.... also return to the gym and kick up your workout a notch it will help...it all pays off...100 pounds is extremly impressive...

I would too get another fill. Why do you feel bad to get another fill? You got the band to help you. Don't give up on it, try a fill, you can always get a de-fill if it is wrong for you.

I agree. Why not get a fill. If you really want to keep the weight off, this is the best way to do it. Regarding diet, remove bread and sugar from your life and eat protein, protein and more protein.
