  1. OMG! lol. That's funny. I know I'm always telling my sister in law she can have some of mine. I'm a 40 D. She's like an A cup maybe a B but I think that's pushing it.
  2. My surgery was a snowy Wednesday morning and I was back to work by Monday.
  3. I now have 6 cc's in and I feel more restricted than ever. I get full pretty fast and I really had to learn to slow down otherwise if I eat too fast then bam it will hit me and I feel very uncomfortable for a few minutes before it starts to go down more. It's nice to finally get some restriction. Thankfully I haven't had any PB incidents.
  4. That's up to you. My sister had wrist surgery when she was on hers and believe me they will work around it.
  5. You know I changed the way I eat too. I no longer eat fast food and I'm quite certain at this point it would make me sick. I do have the occasional goody. Don't get me wrong I love my Cookies and cake. I don't buy any of it but if I'm at my brother's and he makes fresh chocolate chip cookies I'm gonna have 1 or 2 but that's it. If I have cake it's a small piece. Last week I kinda fell off the dieting band wagon (making a couple unhealthy choices and not exercising as diligently as I have been) and i'm paying the piper this week. I feel like crap. I'm exhausted and yesterday felt crappy all day long but I'm back on track this week and today I finally feel a bit better. I didn't come all this way to go through what I am going through not to make a change in my lifestyle. Obviously it wasn't working before why would it work now? Your friend is making the wrong choices and unfortunately it's going to come back and bite her.
  6. Everybody is different. It's quite possible. How many cc's do you have?
  7. That is so awesome! congrats!
  8. Dang! You've done it all! Well here's to a new adventure for you! Welcome and good luck. You will feel awesome after your band is in and you are back to eating regular foods.
  9. I notice my PMS symptoms are way less than what they used to be. My boobs used to get really sore and I'd get really bad back pain. I notice I no longer get those things. Just cramps. My weight loss stalls as well during this time that's why I don't get frustrated. But I no longer gain weight.
  10. Tell me about it. I need to start losing in my arms, lower stomach, thighs and butt. I have a big bubble butt. I also have fat calves. I want to have nice, shapely calves.
  11. Each doctor is different. Mine puts no restrictions on me at all but other's do. I've had no problems eating right after a fill.
  12. Everybody is different. The 1st week post op I lost 5 lbs and then I stalled for a month. After that I started losing 2 lbs a week steadily. Don't fret and don't get discouraged. You will get there!
  13. Hey Lulu. Does he ever say why he doesn't want to lose the weight? Is there something holding him back?

Congrats! Welcome to your new life.
  15. Nina you will get yourself back there. Dealing with what you are dealing with no wonder. You made the first step by getting an appointment for a fill that will help you and then maybe after that you can get some motivation.
  16. Good luck. HOpe it all goes well with the insurance company. Soon you will be well on your way to living a healthy life.
  17. You are either PMSing and retaining water or you are constipated and once it clears out of your system you will probably see the extra 2 lbs drop.

So a month into being banded it finally dawned on me to take my measurements and at the time my weight was 283 lbs. These were my measurements: Bust 49 1/2 Waist 49 1/2 Hips 62 Thigh 35 Arm 18 1/2 2 months later I finally got around to doing it again. My weight was 270 and my measurements are as follows: Bust 47 1/2 down 2 inches Hips 59 1/2 down 2 1/2 inches Waist 46 down 3 1/2 inches Thigh 32 down 3 inches Arm 18 down 1/2 inch For a total inch loss of 11 1/2 inches!!! I couldn't believe it!!! That is almost a foot off my body. Amazing.

  20. You are going 1 week post surgery? well 1 week post surgery they removed my staples and I had already been back to work 4 days and driving for 3 of those days. You will be okay. Just be careful on some of the rides. Maybe stay away from space mountain.
  21. That is so cool. Congrats to you. It's got to be weird going from plus down to misses. I've shopped in the plus section since I was 15 years old. i have no clue how to even shop in the misses section.
  22. Wow that is frickin' awesome!!!! Congratulations!
  23. Wow that's alot of weight you lost in a month. I would have the doctor unfill you a bit. He shoudl have waited a month to even fill you since your body needs to recover from the surgery. Also, are you taking Vitamins? Maybe that would help some. Make sure you take a Protein suplement as well. good luck to you!
  24. Aww sweetie don't beat yourself up. You just need to deal with your issue with food. Do you have a support group with your doctors office? Maybe a nutritionist? I would definitely see a psychologist to help deal with why you over eat. You didn't come this far to go through what you went through to get banded to not use it. The band's an awesome tool to help you lose weight. The face that you are exercising is awesome. You will start to feel much better and you will probably start to feel more motivated. So the next time you feel like snacking have fruits and veggies on hand instead of chips and Cookies. good luck to ya! Hope you can get back on track!
  25. Congrats! Hope it all goes well for you.
