  1. Like Judy said, we will be here for you. Best wishes and loads of prayers for you.
  2. Did anyone else catch the new tv show on FOX last night MORE TO LOVE, it is a take off of The Bachelor, but it is done with overweight women and one overweight man. The one thing I noticed is how sad and teary eyed they became when they started to describe their love life and how they wanted someone to love them for who they are no matter how big they were. They all verbalized how sad and lonely they were and so young, most in their mid 20's. Talk about what obesity does to our psychies. I think alot of them need some therapy to improve their self esteem. I also saw a major difference in their occupations compaired to the show with the size 2 women. The bigger women were waitresses and nannies etc, where the regular bachelor show with size 2 women were professional types. This is just an observation mind you but there has to be some sort of correlation there. Of all of the fats women on the show, I only noticed 2 that were professionals, a rocket engineer and a teacher and one or two other more technical or professional type career types. Not in the same league as in the other show. These women all were looking for someone to make them happy when they werent happy with themselves. Just mho.
  3. I can sooo totally relate to that feeling. I was/am such a foodie and I am grieving the loss of being able to eat and taste as much as I want. It is most definitely a mind thing. I just keep telling myself that I can have more, just not right now. Sometimes that works but seriously sometimes I just want a couple more bites when my stomach says NO. It just comes down to acceptance of my choice and what is more important to me. Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.
  4. Thats ok, I live in So California, it doesnt get that cold here
  5. Bearded, you are nominated. I will let you know when I am ready!!! Ok when I get to goal And I want it to hurt him.
  6. Yes it is forever, do you want to be like you are right now forever? Thats your option. You are going to be fine. Lighten up on yourself. Our thoughts and support are with you.
  7. Well its 3 days later and I am starting to feel a little better so I do think it must have been a virus of some sort. I had a corporate lunch today and it was the first real eating out episode I have had since the surgery. I couldnt eat enough to make a dent in my food and I just had them put the whole plate in a doggie bag. My boss noticed but I told him I ate too much of the appetizers but he also knows I had a partial gastrectomy last March and knows I havent eaten alot since. Therefore he wasnt really surprised. I did notice how much the others did eat though and thought to myself, OMG, I used to eat that way.
  8. You most definitely have our best wishes and prayers. You will be fine
  9. I think you may be right, I have had a pretty uneventful recovery and this is the first time to feel like this. Has to be a virus of some kind. Oh well clear liquids doesnt sound good but neither does anything else right now.
  10. no, I am not, I think I have gotten in a cup of fluid all day today. Just too sick to drink anything. I am thinking of going back to clear liquids until this thing clears up. I am so close to throwing up all of the time.
  11. Make your decision after you and your dh speak with the doctor. Congrats on getting it approved. I would take that as a sign that it is meant to be.
  12. Hey bearded, I like those kinda of bf's. They are pretty much perfect for the most part.
  13. Ok, walking by him wearing vicky secrets and having him eat his heart out would be good too or I would be sitting in the Jag.
  14. I have been extremely nauseated since Saturday around noon, I remember I was really getting hungry and had some precooked chicken I bought at Von's and soon felt nauseated. I felt bad all day Sunday and just didnt feel like eating or drinking. I mean like one bite or sip was more than enough. I did forget to take my nexium on Sunday and wondered that maybe I forgot it on Saturday too, but not sure. I delayed taking my meds today because I didnt want to throw them up again. No fever or major vomiting, just almost constant nausea especially if I try to eat. Anyone have any ideas on this?
  15. This may sound shallow or vindictive or just plain bad but....my ex husband was cruel to me about my weight and when I have gotten to goal, I would love to just walk past him and let him eat his heart out. I want to dfrive by him in a jag too. He was nasty about my getting my engineering degree.
