I'm getting so frustrated, 7 months out and almost 2 months stalled
That's so frustrating, almost everything I was going to reccomend you mentioned you already do! The only thing I'd add is focusing on upping your protein intake maybe?

Hair loss
It's unfortunately a waiting game right now. The hair loss is very hard to avoid. As long as you keep up with your vitamins & protein, it will eventually stop!
-
Stalles
Currently dealing with a stall & stuck at 141lbs. I'm changing up my workout & going back to drinking a protein shake for dinner. That has helped me break stalls before & I'm hoping that helps again!

Hair Shedding & Hair Loss
I dealt with pretty aggressive hair loss but it's stopped! I now lose nearly nothing. I just take my multivitamin & take 2 Calcium Citrate vitamins each day. However stopping the hair loss came with time. Unfortunately for now you just have to wait it out. Just keep up with your vitamins, protein & the hair loss will eventually stop.

Mine: I'm 6lbs away from hitting my next goal weight of 135lbs! I may aim for 125lbs after that.

Embrace it girl!! Some of that may be water weight but this is not a bad thing. Just as long as you feel good you should be ok. Stay hydrated!

Feeling hungry but not hungry
Agreed w/ mcipanda. Air feels very similar to hunger. Just keep sipping water!
-
must haves
Your LOOSEST fitting pj's. Pants will fit tightly after surgery thanks to the gas pumped into the stomach. You'll appreciate the extra room in your pants in the ride back home
-
Reset
Agreed with everyone else. Nothing physically happens when you do a reset, it just snaps you back to being disciplined. Going back to protein shakes may be helpful in helping you lose that weight
-
Nutrition Goals - Unrealistic with food?
Yeah don't drop your protein shakes! I'm 6mos out & I still use those to hit my protein goals. They make life much easier
-
Eating and drinking at same time.
You don't. I take 1 sip of water after eating & even then you can FEEL you weren't suppose to do that. It feels best to wait
-
Kids meals!
Yess the Chipotle kid's meal is also great! Q protein, 2 toppings/fillers & tortilla or taco shells. It's more than enough!
-
Omg my surgery is tomorrow
Hope all goes well for you!

Bubbles.
Yess had a carbonated flavored water today at 6months post op & had ZERO issues!

Getting nervous
Yes it's very overwhelming! I got 2 booklets with 1 being as big as a college textbook. Treating it like school work, using post it notes, highlighters, notes etc made it easy. Studying a BIT each day & really absorbing new info each day instead of all at once made it easier

Do you think I can lose 70lbs naturally? I'm at a crossroads :(

Do you think I can lose 70lbs naturally? I'm at a crossroads :(

First Post - Surgery Scheduled April 12
Congrats!! I'm glad you ended up looking into it. The idea that this surgery isn't for men is such a weird stigma, EVERYONE deserves to be at a healthy weight & I'm glad you get that now! Not going to lie, the liquid diet is difficult. It was the toughest part of this journey but in the grand scheme of things it was a tiny drop in a pool of water. The results are so worth it & you will look back on the liquid stage as just a crazy time you went through. I reccomend Fairlife protein shakes for that stage. They are genuinely tasty & good flavor makes that time a bit easier.

Do you think I can lose 70lbs naturally? I'm at a crossroads :(
You absolutely CAN. I lost 95lbs pre-op. However, I have a history of keeping weight loss off long term. I got the surgery & it's helping me keep weight off & continue to lose. I only regret not getting it sooner. From WebMD: "Only around 5% of people who fall in the morbidly obese range are successful at losing weight without surgical assistance."

Post-Op Weight Loss stall - when will it end????
One of my stalls lasted 4 weeks. Just stick to your plan & you will definitely break it!
