  1. Yesss remember water weight is huge!
  2. Good luck!! You got it figured out more than most of us who already had the surgery haha. I hope it goes well!!
  3. I was taking 100% of the vitamins I needed to take, taking Finasteride, getting my full protein intake & I still dealt with hair loss around the 3rd month. It's nearly unavoidable.
  4. Awesome! Glad they were able to preform this & further help you
  5. YES I fully understand this. I was in the 160's in middle school & I now weigh in the 140's. It's insane to think I'm now smaller than I was as a CHILD!
  6. I have not seen the majority of my family since early 2022 & 100+lbs ago & I am SO nervous about this exact thing. I just know they're going to make a huge deal about it, be dramatic, ask endless amounts of questions & I'm not ready. I wish everyone would act like everything is normal but I know that's not gonna be the case
  7. The stress & the fear is very real but it will be SO WORTH IT! & your son will love & appreciate the extra time & energy you will have to be with him. it'll all workout great
  8. congrats! how long as it been
  9. Wow what a bummer! Especially from Target, I definitely wouldn't spend the $70 on that as there's a chance you will only fit in those for WEEKS. It's a cool idea but definitely go cheap! I used to wear 3/4x clothes, bought 1x to enjoy my weight loss & left it behind in 2 months. I'm now down to Mediums & regret spending that $$ on the XL's!
  10. Wow that's rough. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you recover soon ?
  11. WOW I'm glad tho things ended up working out for you! You lived through a wild ride. Congrats!
  12. I started working out after the 3rd month. With how little I was eating, I simply did not have the energy to do anything more than walking. Stick to walking until you feel you have all your energy back!
  13. Hope your recovery is going well!
  14. Yeah I got it. I dislike it but when I wear my hair down I've been enjoying hiding it with face-lift tape!
  15. Yeah that's definitely unique. I personally had trouble eating protein bars for a few months (3months) so hopefully that goes well!
  16. Definitely be patient!! My highest weight was 295 & no one really noticed till I was down to 190. That's also when I finally started buying new clothes. It will take time but you will DEFINITELY see the results physically too!
  17. Congratulations!!! & Don't over buy! Tastebuds changing after surgery is so common & you don't want to stock up on something you might end up hating later ?
  18. I mean, I understand where you're coming from & the ultimately the final decision is up to you. However, I'd never shop at any Walmart again if I based all of my decisions based on what I see on the news lol If you truly do not feel comfortable going anymore, I would look for a facility in the US. Chances are you WILL be fine, but the news only amplifies anxiety more.
  19. Become as well versed on your post op vitamins as you can. I find that many people become confused about that!
  20. I hope all is well now!
  21. Oh yes absolutely. Protein shakes & bars are lifesaving on those days. Especially busy days, I just can't be bothered
  22. Keep at it. People will never truly understand what goes into this until they see all of your hard work first hand. He will come around!
  23. Yes you absolutely can!
