can't catch a break

I got rid of my cold, and today I was involved in an accident with my dogs that resulted in me getting bit. I was put on some strong antibiotics (fortunately there's a liquid version), and given 4 stitches in my leg. I'm assuming this may be a provider-specific question, but what do you all think the chances are that they're going to push my surgery out because of this? It's scheduled 3 days from now. Frustrated, scared, and disappointed. ?

  • if you want to know for sure, I'd call them and ask, but I kind of doubt something like that would delay your surgery

Update: The surgeon asked me to send him a picture of the wound. We are keeping my surgery date for tomorrow. So excited!!

I doubt that they would on the dog bite alone. Maybe give the surgeons room a quick call and ask them this question so that you can stop worrying. Hope everything goes well on the day. ?

I doubt they would cancel surgery especially after it already being a few days. I think that the only concern would be infection, they would definitely cancel surgery if there was even the slightest bit of infection.

Call your team if you want to be sure and put your mind at ease.
