Getting nervous

My pathway advisor just sent me 10 attachments and all the stuff I need to track and daily habits and everything I know this is going to be to help me form a healthy habit prior to surgery but boy it is overwhelming. Anyone feel this when they started their process I’m excited but nervous.

yes it does seem overwhelming at first, but after awhile it becomes old hat.

  • I just started my process in January 2023 and had my first nutrition class on 3/15 and I was also sent lots of info to stay on track before and after the surgery! I’m nervous and excited for the futur

I bought a large binder with dividers and kept everything organized. Test results, meeting notes, program details, Dr appts, daily weights, diets, to do lists, etc. I took it to every meeting, appt.

My surgery will most likely be in July. When do you think you will be scheduled?
I would love to follow your progress ???

I think I am going to do my due diligence and do the same ! I rather have everything organized that way I do a lot better on paper than an app. So weird right lol going to Walmart for sure

Yay ! So exciting how have the diet appts been ? I don’t have any required diet appts just regular check ups for tests. My pathway advisor said sometime in end of may - June !!!

I hope so !! I believe it will it seems it’s all about consistency
The nutritional appointments are going great just going over nutrition and how to eat after the surgery. I was required to lose 5 pounds which I lost first month just gotta keep it off ??. Keep us posted when you get your surgery date

Yes it's very overwhelming! I got 2 booklets with 1 being as big as a college textbook. Treating it like school work, using post it notes, highlighters, notes etc made it easy. Studying a BIT each day & really absorbing new info each day instead of all at once made it easier

I will for fire ! I think I’ll know sometime in may. Has it been hard to maintain your weight? I’m right at the 40.6 bmi. I can’t go over at all !
