  1. This quote hangs in my kitchen near where we come in and out as a reminder to myself and to my family to always live in the ring, to never sit the bench in your own life. As I sat here drinking my protein shake waiting to get the kids off the camp so I can go to bed (Night Shift) I really started to reflect on how this quote relates to us and to all of you in our WLS journeys. We've all faced adversity, failures, judgement and yet we are here, still making the conscious decision to change our lives. How many times have people outside the ring made hurtful comments about not needing surgery, but will power, or about taking the easy way out? They do not stand in this ring they don't know your struggles and they don't know how NOT easy this road will be. I can't take credit for the quote itself, it's from my girl Brene Brown but it's hung in my home for a long time and its brought peace in many situations I have face especially the journey I am on now! I wanted to share because I thought it may help someone else to see that those critics don't matter. Their words are painful but their words cannot stop us from achieving all that we have set our minds to. Have a great Wednesday everybody! ❤️

  15. I’m sorry that y’all are going through this. I hope that being sleeved together will help us not to go through a similar fate. I’m sure there will be jealousy at some points because it’s only natural to have those thoughts watching your spouse go through such a change but I hope that we can be open and talk about it and that we both take the the “new” attention from all the people who ignore us as we are now with a grain of salt.
  16. So you do the bariatric twice a day and the regular women’s multi once a day at the same time at the bariatric? I noticed it has the calcium in it so I’m guessing we can’t use it until a month post op
