❤MARCH 2019 CHALLENGE❤
Tell me about it. Chocolate is my kryptonite. Luckily (or unluckily) these days it makes me dump if I have more than a little bit and the sugar free stuff makes me spend the night on the porcelain throne. I paid good money for precisely that!

One thing other peeps tell me I'm good at: fixing other people's computer /Internet issues (it helps that a lifetime ago I worked at an ISP on the helpdesk [emoji16])

13. One skill or hobby you want to take up. I have three and I can't choose between them. When I get down a bit more, Imma reactivate my scuba license; take up horseriding with my daughter and start doing zumba/aerobics

Baaahaha haha but an evil death stare is very useful to have in your arsenal as well. Like, when a dude tries to cut in line in front of you at border control at the airport. Dude had a serious rethink coming.

❤MARCH 2019 CHALLENGE❤
Sorry for going all religious, but that's just me. In Islamic theology, everything that happens to us - the good and the bad of it - comes from the Creator, so if I experience a disappointment say, not managing to have more babbies, I remind myself that whatever comes my way is for my ultimate benefit in bringing me to my Lord. I know it sounds all religious, but that genuinely is my outlook on life and it's helped me through infertility, life-threatening illness, mental health problems and ordinary life crap.

This is SO true!!!

The struggle is real! Are you tracking what you're eating? Concentrating on firm protein first? Avoiding high GI carbs?

10. One thing I'm good at: research and writing - boring but true 11. My favourite part of my body: I'm rather partial to my face. Since I've lost some weight it's less round and more heart shaped and I'm liking it more and more. 12. A negative thought I'm ready to let go of: that if I don't lose weight one week that it's all over red rover.

9. One piece of advice I'd give to myself a year ago today: concentrate on protein and produce, you can give up the sugary stuff! It's doable!

Abilify and slow weight loss?
Yeah I found Abilify made me put on weight (this was b4 surgery) so I flat out refused to take it. I promised my pdoc that if I start having bipolar issues I will take it, but I'm very strict with my sleep and daylight hygiene so so far so good.

8. A bad habit I'd like to break is snacking over my calorie allowance in the evening. I tend to go "an extra 100 cals won't hurt" so I need to be firmer with myself.

Baritastic. I had to install the apk outside of the Google play store because inexplicably it's not listed in Ireland [emoji849]

A thread for when Umm Yasmin wants to add marginally relevant comments about stuff
Gosh, I've discovered I have to be careful fasting. I've still a got a few of last year's Ramadan to make up so I thought I'd get them over and done with. Day one was fine but day two - sheesh talk about dizzy! I think I didn't rehydrate enough in the evening after the first day so I was dehydrated in the next one and as I've been having low blood pressure issues anyhow it was compounded by fasting. So my lesson, folks, is rehydrate, rehydrate, rehydrate!!,

7. What's not to love? [emoji12] One thing about myself that I love is that I'm a kickass mum. My girly adores me and tells me how fabulous I am, so it must be true.

Ooh I like the look of that. I might get some plain non fat not Greek yoghurt (so it's runny) to have a go at making a dressing like that.

❤MARCH 2019 CHALLENGE❤
6. What I could have done better today: well, I fasted today and didn't really have my dinner prepped. So, at sunset I was very hungry and I ended up having a Weight Watchers frozen meal which I never really do (alternative was take out and I defo didn't want to do that). It was pretty tasteless and protein serving was miserable. So then I ate a bologna in ciabatta which is defo off-plan. I stayed within my calorie goal but I need to be more prepared when I'm fasting.

Hope your toothypegs are OK. Favorite fruit these days are seedless red grapes. When I lived in far north Queensland it was fresh mango but now that I know what a mango is supposed to taste like, the ones we get in supermarkets are ersatz! Favourite veggie is eggplant but I cannot have it. First because best way to eat them is fry them and they soak up oil so that is not WLS friendly. Second, I seem to have some fashion of allergy to them. 75% of the time when I eat them I suddenly vomit violently and my face goes all blotchy and dark. The other 25% of the time I'm fine, so who knows?
